Annotation:
The article is devoted to the study of the specifics and functions of the criminal-executive legal consciousness of the personnel of the UIS RF.
The paper defines the role and significance of the criminal-executive legal consciousness of the personnel of the UIS RF, identifies the connection of the phenomenon under study with the law-making and law-enforcement aspect of criminal executive law.
The article identifies some of the law-making and law-enforcement criminal-executive problems that are associated with the legal awareness of the personnel of the RF UIS.
One of the areas of effective improvement of law-making and law enforcement criminal-executive activity is legal education.
The factors of the implementation of high-quality legal education of practitioners of insti-tutions and bodies of the criminal investigation system of the Russian Federation have been identified and analyzed.
Within the framework of the article, the following methodology was used: the method of analysis and synthesis made it possible to study aspects of the criminal executive legal reality directly related to the legal consciousness of the personnel of the penal system, the sociological and statistical method made it possible to establish the organizational problems of the implementation of regulatory legal acts in institutions and bodies of the penal system, the use of the comparative legal method made it possible to reveal the differences and similarities of homogeneous criminal-executive legal phenomena.
