LEGAL ASPECTS OF PROVIDING THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CRIMINAL ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM WITH MEANS OF PERSONAL PROTECTION FROM VIRAL INFECTIONS

Аnnotation:

The article discusses the legal aspects of providing workers and the special contingent of the penitentiary system with personal protective equipment against viral infections and the implementation of additional sanitary and anti-epidemic measures. The introduction of a “high alert” mode of operation is being considered to prevent the catastrophic consequences caused by the new coronavirus infection. The author analyzed current legal documents aimed at preventive measures of protection against biologically dangerous viruses that can lead to a biological emergency. Various categories of risk of infection with a new coronavirus infection of employees of the penal system, subject to personal protective equipment, are considered. The volumes of necessary stocks of personal protective equipment are specified, based on the recommendations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. Special attention is paid to the creation of stocks of protective equipment in the institutions of the penal system for employees and special contingents. The provision of critical facilities in the context of the spread of a new coronavirus infection as part of creating material and technical reserves is being considered.
