Annotation:

The article attempts to analyze the theoretical foundations of the introduction of elearning and the practice of its application in additional professional education. Based on the goals of modern education, which is designed to meet the spiritual needs of the individual, which undoubtedly makes adjustments not only in the content of education, but also in the choice of pedagogical technologies of the educational process. This situation in education directs teachers to search for new ways to organize training.
The purpose of the study was to identify the advantages and problems that arise when using e-learning in the educational process. The research method is a comprehensive analysis of current literature in this area of pedagogy.
The authors indicate the features of using e-learning in the implementation of additional professional programs.
E-learning is a fairly new dynamic direction in the educational process, so it is constantly being analyzed, the results of its application are considered on discussion platforms.
