Annotation:

The Authors of the article focus on the problem of improving the quality of training of personnel units of the Federal Penal system in the framework of additional professional education. The urgency of improving the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of the penitentiary staff is emphasized. There are a number of tasks, the solution of which should help to formulate approximate standard requirements for the professional activity of representatives of personnel divisions of the Federal Penal system. Given the experience of implementation of additional professional programs – training programs on the basis of Tomsk Institute for advanced training FPS of Russia in terms of training personnel departments of the institutions and bodies of Federal Penal system on a wide range of positions. The basic factors that should be taken into account in the formation of additional professional training programs for employees of personnel divisions of the Federal Penal system are identified. The article describes professional and specialized competencies that allow improving knowledge, skills and skills in the field of human resources in the FPS. The analysis of statistical and sociodemographic data of students who come for training in the direction оf «Оrganization of personnel work in institutions and bodies of the FPS» is given, the results of a survey on the results of training are presented. It is stated that there is a need to further expand the range of training for personnel divisions in the light of the adoption of new Federal legislative acts in the field of regulation of official legal relations in the FPS.
