Annotation:

The current criminal executive legislation provides for the obligation of the criminal executive inspectorate to conduct initial search activities in relation to not all categories of convicts registered with the criminal executive inspectorate. In relation to persons sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, such an obligation is not provided for by law. The purpose of this work is to substantiate the need to consolidate in the criminal executive legislation the obligation to conduct initial search measures to establish the whereabouts of persons sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, as well as declaring them on the wanted list. The problems of establishing the whereabouts of those sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, including those who are citizens of the CIS member states, who have escaped from the control of criminal executive inspections, are considered. Proposals have been formulated to improve the legal and organizational framework for the conduct of initial search activities by the criminal executive inspectorate in relation to persons sentenced to deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, including those who are citizens of the CIS member states who have escaped the control of criminal executive inspections.
