Annotation:
The article deals with the importance of analytical activity of a Manager when making a managerial decision. This is due to the fact that the activity of absolutely any organization depends on the management process, since competent and balanced decisions allow maintaining stability or implementing development with positive dynamics. And other decisions can lead the organization to degradation. For this purpose, the issue of the importance of conducting analysis before making a decision is considered, and an attempt is made to determine the quality of the person that is necessary for the implementation of analytical work.
A retrospective analysis of this problem is given and, accordingly, a method for performing the analysis at a specific time in a specific place is proposed. Since the importance of decisions made by the head, including institutions and bodies of the criminal Executive system, is quite important, including, which may affect the fate of people. In addition, the decision of the head should ensure the stability of correctional institutions and pre-trial detention facilities. The contribution to the role of analytical activity in making managerial decisions by the Italian (Florentine) philosopher and political figure of the XVI century, Nicolo Machiavelli, is considered.
