He article deals with the problem of aggressiveness in minors who have committed criminal acts and are serving a sentence in an educational colony. It is noted that there is a negative trend in places of deprivation of liberty associated with an increase in the number of cases of aggressive behavior of convicts. The substantiation of the thesis that in order to understand aggression, there is a need to abstract from a number of substructures and identify a group of variables that directly affect the genesis of aggressive behavior is proposed. The purpose of the study is to study the level of aggression and aggressive behavior of juvenile offenders in conditions of deprivation of liberty. An empirical study of indicators of aggressive behavior was conducted on the basis of the Tyumen Educational Colony of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Tyumen Region. The sample of the study is represented by an experimental group, which included male juvenile offenders serving criminal sentences (n=30), and a control group – students of one of the municipal autonomous educational institutions of the city of Tyumen (n=30). The psychodiagnostic tools were determined, the collection and analysis of factual material adequate to the goals and objectives of the study was carried out. It was revealed that the indicators of aggressiveness in juvenile convicts have high values in situations associated with qualitative changes in the social position. Taking into account the results obtained, three directions of socio–psychological correction and prevention of aggressive behavior of juvenile convicts are identified. It is stated that it is necessary to search for effective strategies, which should be based on internal impulses that neutralize aggressive tendencies of adolescents. The conclusion is formulated that the correction of aggressive behavior will be effective while simultaneously forming the skills of socially positive confident behavior in juvenile convicts.
