Annotation:

The current organization of the educational process of convicts indicates that the potential of physical culture and sports remains not fully studied and implemented in the penitentiary practice. The study of a few scientific studies and the analysis of the study conducted among convicted women, both previously serving prison sentences and first-time convicts of the Siberian and Ural Federal Districts of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, showed
low motivation for daily health and physical education activities that are necessary in the framework of mass detention of people. Daily morning physical exercise has a hygienic and health-improving value, promotes the transition of the body to wakefulness and working condition. In addition, for convicted women who are in isolation, morning physical exercise serves as one of the means to overcome feelings of apathy, depression. Industrial gymnastics relieves the tension of the body, fatigue, fatigue, increases the concentration of attention, which is so necessary in the garment industry, which is mainly located in YIWU, but not only. Accordingly, the involvement of specialists in the development of scientific and methodological support and support of physical culture and sports work in correctional institutions will create prerequisites for improving the effectiveness of educational work in penal institutions and, as a result, will lead to the achievement of the main goal of punishment – the correction of convicts.
