Annotation:

The article discusses the main tasks of special units for escorting the penal system, as well as the specifics of the service activities of these units. In the system of professional activities of employees of special escort units, physical training is of particular importance. Accordingly, in this scientific work, the concept and role of physical training in the service activities of employees of special units for escorting, its importance in the event of emergencies, to which employees of these units can be involved, are considered.
We have identified a number of factors that have a negative impact on the results of physical fitness of employees of special escort units. A number of measures have been proposed, which, in our opinion, need to be paid special attention to when planning and organizing physical training classes. This, in turn, could undoubtedly significantly improve the quality of physical training of employees, as well as develop sustainable motivation for training.
