Annotation:
The article discusses the issues of planning actions for the prevention and elimination of natural and man-made emergencies in the institutions of the penal system. The requirements of regulatory legal acts, departmental orders for planning civil defense of an organization (institution) are considered. The complexity of planning civil defense measures to eliminate the consequences of natural and man-made emergencies is discussed due to the poor predictability of the nature, scale and time of an emergency. Clarifies which organizations do not develop their own civil defense plans. The article deals with the filling of the sections of the plan: “A brief assessment of the possible situation on the territory of the organization that may arise during military conflicts or as a result of these conflicts, as well as in natural and man-made emergencies”, “Conducting civil defense”, “Implementation of civil defense measures in sudden attack of the enemy. “Describes the information that needs to be included in the subsections of the plan. It is indicated with whom it is agreed, who signs and approves the civil defense plan.
