Annotation:

The criminal executive legislation is faced with the goal of correcting convicts, the task of this legislation is aimed at helping convicts in social adaptation.
Taking into account this goal and objectives, the activities of correctional institutions are aimed at reducing the level of post-penitentiary recidivism, which has not decreased in recent years. The changing criminal policy of the state in matters of humanization leads to a deterioration in the composition of the convicts. The Concept for the Development of the Penitentiary System of the Russian Federation until 2030 notes that it is necessary to create a system of resocialization and social adaptation, which implies the introduction of uniform principles and mechanisms for providing comprehensive assistance to suspects, accused, convicted persons and persons released from serving sentences, as well as continuity in the conduct of social , educational and psychological work at various stages of the stay of the suspect, the accused and the convicted person in the institutions of the penal system. The article examines the experience of the probation service in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which makes it possible to reduce the level of postpenitentiary recidivism to less than 10%, which is several times less than the national level.
