Innovative forms and methods of training encourage students to be proactive, to be able to design new forms of action, to be able to build productive communication when solving a group problem, both in everyday professional activities and in emergency situations. The author presents the training working complex of the Tomsk IPCR of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia, where active methods of training students are implemented, which are aimed at practice-oriented support of the educational process. The main activities of the training work complex are the organization of interactive presentations, seminars and
practical training sessions using active teaching methods, both non-simulation and simulation modeling. Accordingly, for the practical implementation of the system of professional training of students who are trained in an additional professional program-the program of advanced training, it is necessary to create appropriate organizational and pedagogical conditions that affect the formation of professional competencies of a qualified specialist.
