Annotation:

The article deals with the problem of education of military students under distance learning. The introduction of distance learning deprived military students of both direct interactions with teachers, curators, groupmates, senior officers and commanders, and the need to obey many requirements of a departmental institution. The results of observation and survey indicate a weak ability of students to self-organize, a decrease in cognitive interest, the loss of acquired skills, the development of passivity and laziness.
Improving the effectiveness of educational work in the course of developing the activities and institutions of the penal system provides for the need to organize the education of military students through the activities of curators of groups. The course “Organization of educational and leisure activities” is created within the framework of the distance learning system “Russian Moodle”. It is aimed at the personal, volitional and spiritual development of students in attractive forms of work. The article presents the experience of implementing some of the course’s activities together with the analysis of feedback.
The content of the activities that are organized by the curators is focused on the students’ understanding of the most important aspects of human life, the formation of family values, team building, skills of independent work, self-examination, organization of free time, ability to self-organization, strength of will and can be implemented in terms of distance learning in the departmental institution.
